Make art in Ghent
this spring or summer?
Combined live and work space consisting of a huge art studio + one big apartment, connected by doors.
The studio space:
approximately 100 m2 (high ceilings, concrete floors, perfect light for working day and night, sunny balcony for coffee breaks w view of garden/trees)
The living space:
sunny apartment w lots of windows, high ceilings, and wooden floors, around 50m2 (1 bedroom, 1 living room, kitchen w all utilities, bath w tub.)

Location:
Quietly located in a huge, old linen factory with only 4 other artists/architect studios/living spaces. LOTS of space, very bohemian vibe. The factory is in a closed area, very calm and green, connected by a private pathway to the street. Once you walk out from the factory, you find yourself in the middle of it all: The Portus Ganda area has lots of cafés, bars, restaurants, markets, and art galleries in just a few minutes' walking distance.
About Ghent:
A beautiful, fun middle-sized "good vibe city": it's relatively small, but big enough to feel like a big city, it's International and always lively, full of art, culture and worldly people. It also has a very good art and music scene.
Area:
Ghent is centrally located. Brussels is half an hour away by train, Brugge is also half an hour away by train, Antwerp 45 min by train, Lille is 1 hour away by train, Amsterdam 3 hours by train, and Paris is also 3 hours away by train.
Fees:
300 eur per week / 1000 our per month.
