Solo exhibition "Facing The Same Way". My first solo exhibition in several years took place in January 2023, at de Bouwput, in Amsterdam!
Art For Christmas. From the 16th to the 18th of December 2022, we celebrate Christmas at Ti-Pi. How? By setting up a huge exhibition with great artists on all 4 floors of Ti-Pi, and by decorating the whole building for Christmas. And the cherry on top: an enormous, beautiful Christmas tree donated by Tuinen Demol, decorated with fantastic Christmas art decorations made by all the participating artists! Art For Christmas is a yearly event initiated by Femke Vandenbosch and Thomas Renwart, and it's an honor for me to host it this year, and to cocurate it with Thomas and Femke.
Marlon Wobst in Ghent. September/October 2022: I have invited Berlin-based artist Marlon Wobst for a residency at Ti-Pi. After his residency, his work will be shown in a solo exhibition at Ti-Pi.

THIS Art Fair. July 2022: For the first time in several years, I'm again showing my own art! The work is shown and for sale at THIS Art Fair, Amsterdam. While I will continue to curate and work with other artists on the organizational aspect of projects, I’m also excited to again show my own art. More to come!

Ti-Pi Art Space. April 2022: I'm opening a new art space in Ghent: On two floors of a building generously made available by Monumento, the space will function as a workspace for visiting artists, and we will sporadically host art exhibitions, workshops, screenings, and artists' talks.

Painting again! I'm back in the art studio, creating art again. After several years of being immersed in working mainly with other artists, and having enjoyed focusing on the organizational aspect, I recently felt a strong urge to create again. I rented an art studio in Ghent, Belgium, and am participating in the online residency World of Co.
Saliou Diop. I love working creatively not only by making art, but also by being involved in projects by other artists. I've long been a fan of Saliou Diop's work. Based in Tambacounda, Senegal, he is an artist devoted to making beautiful sculptures and paintings, full of vitality, out of recycled materials.
